Preschool Corner ~ No School
I feel like an amazing slacker in some aspects this week, and yet in other areas ~ not so much. I had grand intentions of starting school back up with all of our kids this week and all those plans went awry last weekend.
Right now I’m sitting in a hospital waiting room with a friend as her husband is making amazing progress ~ an incredible testimony to God’s healing! Needless to say, schoolwork, blogging, and life in general has been a little crazy this week.
Now while WE didn’t do any school…I know that there are many of you that did start back up this week, so the link below is all for you! :) I’d love to see what you all are doing and get a little motivation going on this end too.

I didn't start school back this week either, though I intended to. Glad your friend is improving!

Don't feel guilty about not doing school - this is exactly WHY we homeschool! For moments to be a blessing by adjusting our schedules to be available. I am glad you made the right decision. Since we don't take teacher inservice days, teacher prep days and conference days, we have a little leeway. You're teaching your kids to minister and love. That's crucial!

I hope your friend and their family recover and are all well and together again soon.
You are doing what's needed this week, so give yourself some slack and get back at it when you can.
It seems like alot of us have had unusual weeks that we didn't plan for--I know we have!
Better luck to all of us next week and prayers too!

This is the first time I have linked up, and I didn't exactly follow the rules. I just posted a question and answer homeschooling post yesterday, that I thought I would link up to you with. But since it is not exactly about what we did this week, you can delete it! {grin}
And don't feel guilty about not schooling this week, that is one of the benefits of homeschooling - flexibility!

And there's a lot of life learning to be had in a hospital that your kids are learning this week. I'll keep praying for your friend.

I linked up for the first time this week, but I forgot to link back to you! I am so sorry. I will be sure to do so next week.
I'm sure your children had lots of life learning experiences this week. I will pray for your friend's husband's continued healing.

Sometimes other things are just more important! Blessings to you and praises to Him for healing. Life will be normal again soon enough ~ hang in there!

Just look at the great example you are setting for your kids, in helping and being there for your friend! My prayers are with all of you!

What a helpful web site. I'm planning to order your weekly homeschooling planner. I like the idea of listing out the books we read and having all the school details in one place.
I'm glad you are stopping life to help your friends. You will be so glad that you did.

Such a CUTE house!! We did letter Hh this week, too. I'll have to file this idea away for next year.
Great week!!
