My ‘to post’ list for the month of September…

~ Lesson plans for all the remaining countries we studied with Galloping the Globe. You may have noticed all of the printables are posted on my geography website page. I tell you…the plans are coming, I just need uninterrupted time to get them done {haha}

~ Poem printables for First Language Lessons 4

~ Full pdf set {and individual ones too!} of verse printables for the Awana Cubbies Hopper book {so far 10 are done}

~ Full verse pdf sets for the Awana books {and finish up a few of the missing ones}: WingRunner and HangGliders

~ A few more great giveaways and an AMAZING Back to School Twitter party with Guidecraft you won’t want to miss!!!!

~ and of course all the regular weekly stuff…Science Sunday, Homeschool Village {when I can!!}, Preschool Corner, and Raising Rock Stars too!

My Goal for the month of September…

With our homeschool curriculum and the ‘Pit of Despair’ finally organized and sorted, I’m feeling like I can breathe a little easier. You can see the lovely before and after pictures in my August goal update post.

Ahhh…it feels good.

For September, my goal relates a little more to me personally ~ keep track of my time better and make better use of it. I love lists and schedules, but I also get easily sidetracked. This month is going to be a busy month for not only our family, but me personally. I have a lot of things that I need to balance ~ and keeping our kids and family central is important to me.

I’ve been using Toggl {thanks to Carisa’s suggestion} to help track my time better…and see where I’m wasting it or can manage it better. I love that I can use it from my itouch and my computer desktop. Of course the pretty graphs don’t hurt either. :)

What’s one thing that you really want to do this month?

  • I found your blog via commanderbill.net. Great minds think alike!! I too do the puzzle idea for my Spakey to learn his verses, however I use HCB translations and not NIV or KJV, I will be giving you much blog love and sending all my AWANA friends your way!!!! fyi, for my TNT I go through the book and print out his verses on buisness cards and then as he learns them I add them to a pile that he knows and then weekly I have him review his pile of verses, this makes going for the silver and gold sections much much easier. Since it is the beginning of the year I'm about to post some more of my AWANA activities, if you check in later this week, let me know what you think!!! BTW, I love AWANA too!!!!!
