Blogging Tips: Search This Blog
A few months ago I added a little something to my sidebar and it has been a HUGE help to me personally.
The search box. See it over there on the side?
If you are looking for something in particular, try typing in a keyword for what you need and see what you come up with. I have the search set to look on this blog and links that I have on the blog.
I’ve found more things that I forgot that I posted about, and it’s been a quick way for me to find posts rather than digging through my categories tag or even the archives.
Have fun looking ~ and hope you find lots of useful things! Let me know if you find anything really exciting. :)

That is the simplest tip, but a great one. I can't tell you how many blogs I've visited and can't find the archives or a search box to look for something; frustrating!

I believe every blogspot account comes with a search box. It is in the upper left hand corner here. Is this somehow different? I frequently use mine and it works fine.

All blogger accounts do have it, but not many people know about it...or have it on their blogs. It's so much more convenient to use than the categories when looking for things.

I'm so glad you posted this, I had search on my old theme blog and I think I used it more than anyone else! And now I've just realized that my search bar isn't working...that is no good!
