All About Spelling ~ The Story Behind the Program
Marie from All About Spelling sent me a link to this video the other day that tells the story behind the start of the program. If I wasn’t already using the program…well, I’d buy it all over again after watching this video!
I will honestly tell you that this spelling curriculum completely changed my perspective on how I teach my children and what I look for in ANY curriculum that we use as a family ~ and I am so thankful for that!

Thanks for sharing that video. I was 95% sure that I was going to get AAS for my daughter, and now I'm sold.

Love it! I've heard they might be coming out with a more formal "reading" program sometime this fall. I'm using AAS L1 right now with my 6yr old, so I hope the rumor is true.
However, I love that the levels aren't age-centered b/c I have an older child that was left behind by the school system and never learned letter/sound association. AAS can help her too!

cute video! email me please and help me figure out which one to buy for Lilly who is reading at a 3rd grade level and really needs tons of help with grammar/spelling. do you think my other children will like it? i just started a simple spelling program and could easily change since this is our first week!
hugs and love!

That is a great video! Have you ever used Spelling Power? We are new at it, but EVERYONE I know swears by it. It has all the components she was trying to put into her system, and it is only one book to buy. If you know Spelling Power, I would be very curious to hear your comparrisons.

We are starting AAS this year-I can't wait! I struggled with my now teens to find a program that worked, and was never happy with any of them. So now with my youngest, 7, I am excited to try All About Spelling! Thanks for the video link-it was great!

That was a cute video! I've heard of this program before and it sounds great! I read the first comment about a reading program and boy, that would be awesome for us!

I just started following your blog today, so I am kind of browsing and looking around right now. But I am feeling better and better about picking this program to use with my 8yo son this year. He has Autism, and spelling is very hard for him so I am hoping this program works for him and helps him with that!
