Hearing a New Perspective

Do you have songs that just stick in your head? Ones that you just can’t shake, no matter how hard you’ve tried to get rid of them over the years?

{It would be here that I could remind you of jingles such as the Oscar Meyer Weiner song and send you merrily humming away….but that would be mean, so I’ll just leave that out.}

  • I love your site and am so happy to have found it because I have decided to do a small homeschool preschool with my two young boys this year. Your site has been an amazing resource. Thank you so much for keeping this blog.
    I also want to comment on your post about the timeline. You make a great point on how the company which produced the timeline has made an inexcusable error. I completely understand your need to provide materials for your children which accurately reflect your beliefs. On a separate note, I want you to know that I am LDS. I suspect that you have many LDS readers. Throughout my life I have made many friends who are evangelical Christians and we have learned to respect one another’s' beliefs. I hope you will not confuse this company’s errors with the LDS Church itself. This was not an LDS Church publication. I also want to assert that though your faith and mine are different in many ways, we too are Christians. I hope you will be willing to read the link which I will include which clarifies this point:

    Please read it. It is not an attempt to convert you to my faith, but hopefully to promote more acceptance from those of your faith towards members of mine. Thank you!
