Find It Games Review & Giveaway!
Our house has seen a lot of shaking, twisting, turning and searching over the last few weeks ~ all in search of some objects buried in a pile of confetti inside a Find It Game.
It has been so much fun!
What Are Find It Games?
Find It games can be taken anywhere you go ~ in the car, on vacation, at home…wherever you are, the game can travel with you. Players hunt for objects that are hidden inside the container {all items are listed on top of the game}. Many of the items like to stay hidden, so you have to twist, shake, and do whatever you can to find the hidden objects. They have a variety of themes for their games, from sports to birds and animals ~ a little something for everyone.
I requested to review the Find It Kids version for our kids because it was bright & colorful. It also has ABC beads hidden inside, so I thought it would be great to play with Kaleb as a preschool game. Little did I know that it would keep me busy searching!
Everyone has gotten in on the shaking and searching and we’ve found almost all of the hidden objects…all but three, including the elusive penny. And trust me, I’ve have been searching, hoping to brag that I’d found all of them before this giveaway!
The games are all available from the Find It site. They are offering a $5 discount if you use the coupon code FIGBLOG. You can also do a search on their site to see if there are retailers near you that carry them.
Here’s how to win:
If you would like to win a Find It game for your family, there are a few ways that you can enter. But first, leave a comment letting me know which game you would pick for your family!

i would create a find it of bible characters, how cool would that be trying to guess who you found and then read their story in the bible! you could do a whole study on the person you found. each week you look for a new person and research away! another one I would create is a family find it. you put things in there like small family photos in those frames used for jewelry, know what i mean jelly bean?! anywhoo, you look for the pic and reminise on the photo. you could add small monopoly size things like baby shoes, maybe a mickey mouse, a family pet even, a house, or car. I could go on and on. maybe i should send them my ideas! :)

My own theme - I would make one that was the sounds of the alphabet - a little object for each sound of the alphabet. Maybe even add some items for beginning blends and digraphs. Then you could create lists for your different children based on their phonics skills on what they need to find and give bonus for extras they find if they can tell you what it begins with. :-) Maybe even put in the letter beads.
Also a number one would be fun. Beads or something with the numbers and then little tiles that had corresponding pictures - one dog, two balls, three balloons. Maybe number word tiles and so the kids can find it and then read the number word.
Same for a color version - include colored items and kids could graph how many items of each color they find - 7 reds, 2 black, 13 blue, 5 orange - and create a bar graph of the finds. :-) Hmm, lots of fun!
