Skip Counting Charts from 2 to 12

Skip counting is one thing that we can definitely do a little more of in our house, but as you all know ~ I like to make stuff and make it cute.

I mean, how horrible would it be to just have NUMBERS on a document?

These skip counting charts cover the numbers from 2 up to 12. Each chart starts with a little ‘rhyme’ at the top, show how skip counting with that number works and then skip counts up to whatever 12 x that particular number would be.

These have already been a huge help in our house. We use them every day as a part of our morning routine and even our 3 year old tries to repeat the numbers along with us!

Enjoy them!!

  • Thank you for the chart. I wanted to add that my daughter, who just turned 5, has learned skip counting by 10's easily from the Time For Learning CD. It's folksy, but there are a ton of learning songs. Just thought I would share. Thanks again, Karen

  • These are awesome Jolanthe and I truly believe an answer to prayer!! My 4th grader is having a lot of trouble with her multiplication facts and I think it's because of the way she is learning them. I know these will be a huge help!! Thank you so much for sharing!

  • I'm homeschooling my 3rd grade daughter and these will be a tremendous help. Many times we do not practice skip counting because of lack of time. Now that I can post these I will be able to refer to them daily. Thanks for your creative spirit.

  • How do you insert graphics into your post like that??? (I'm talking about the skip-counting graphic.)

  • While I am not in Classical Conversations anymore, you can buy any of their cycle CD's and get skip counting songs for all of the facts through 15's. They rock! Of course, you get all the other memory work songs too...which I love. But you can't get just skip counting.

$30 for a CD...might be worth it. The math songs ROCK! And if you have to buy one and you are going to get the "other stuff" - buy cycle 3 - it is US history sentences - they are awesome!

My girls learned all of the skip counting last year through 15's and it has been so helpful!

  • I love these and printed them out to work with my pre-K and 3rd grader. The 10 skip counting page is missing the number 40.
I love all your work. Thanks so much for offering yourself.

  • This is just what I needed, thanks! Skip counting has worked so much better for us than flashcards of math facts. It will be great for a workbox

  • I printed these out and love them but wanted to let you know that on the 4's the last three numbers are wrong it says 30, 33, 36. My 2nd grader caught it and we just wrote over that part the correct numbers. It's a great tool and we even noticed some patterns in the sequences this way! Thank you again.

  • Jolanthe,
These are SO cute and helpful! I did notice that in the second file you gave there is a mistake with the 10s...it has 120 twice and it says "skip count by 10s up to 100. I will be using these in my little men's workbox. Thank You! I am not computer savy so I will just type my email...mamagooch97@yahoo.com.

  • We got to skip counting in math, so I went back and printed these off. AAAAWESOME! (you have to imagine the high sing song voice for that to work).
