So Very Sad...
We saw our momma robin this morning for a bit, but noticed later in the day that she hasn't come back to the nest.
A quick look inside and there are only two eggs in the nest now {not the original three}...and no one to sit on them.
We're still working on our robin unit, but sad since we most likely won't have any hands-on field study and observation of the babies.

So sorry, that is very sad. We had a nest in our backyard that four eggs never hatched in. I think they were eaten actually. If you want, check our my blog under the spring posts: http://damonandstacy.blogspot.com/search/label/spring
and see our baby robins! I have pics from eggs to when they first hatched until they left the nest. Very cool. My day care kids loved watching them!
