I am holding out to introduce handwriting until Anna is at least 3 years old :)Natalie PlanetSmartyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03531558038661679151noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2830748451146807697.post-24877515955908677912009-08-29T15:49:58.202-04:002009-08-29T15:49:58.202-04:00I like how you break it up into subjects! How old is ...I thought you were talking about AAS. How old is Zachary? Is he reading? I am just starting AAS with my 4.5 and 6.5 yr olds. My 6.5 yr old is an advanced reader and my 4.5 yr old is quickly working through Bob books. It's taking us a while to move through learning the sounds each letter makes, which you are supposed to master before moving on to level 4 (for my 4.5 yr old). She knows her basic phonics and is working on adding the additional sounds to her vowels and memorizing ch. They get all jumbled up for her with memorizing 3-4 sounds at once. Wondering if I should just move on or not. Did you have this problem?Mommy Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07970863651571623082noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2830748451146807697.post-50068905010738400632009-08-28T21:19:35.525-04:002009-08-28T21:19:35.525-04:00It sounds like it is going along well for you all....It sounds like it is going along well for you all. My daughter and I didn't get into Rocket Phonics last year (pre-K), but I'm thinking about trying it again with her. I'm undecided, because she does well with sight word reading.

Do you have a particular handwriting program? My daughter also needs to work on her lower case and I was curious how you decided which ones to do.Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00342467790727259855noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2830748451146807697.post-10141275213216604722009-08-28T12:07:24.408-04:002009-08-28T12:07:24.408-04:00What spelling program do you use? What spelling program do you use?Mommy Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07970863651571623082noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2830748451146807697.post-77824333695206034962009-08-28T11:00:30.201-04:002009-08-28T11:00:30.201-04:00I just found your blogg.
